Point Bonita Lighthouse Tour – August 2023

Our last day in Napa we headed back to San Fransico for a guided sunset tour of the Point Bonita Lighthouse, which is located at the entrance to the San Francisco Bay.

The short walk to the lighthouse was very nice.

Only people on the tour were allowed through the tunnel to the lighthouse.

Point Bonita was the last manned lighthouse on the California coast.

One more adventure for them to add to their memories.

We were able to see a seal or two and a deer.

The suspension bridge that goes out to the lighthouse has seen better days.

Our tour guide told us that this seam in the hillside is a fault line where two plates are pushing against one another.

The kids are ready for the tour to start!
