Notice that he uses a tarp to protect the bottom of the tent as well as give us a place to take on and off our shoes. He's so good at this!Ready for ABF! We came in from our campsite to teach Sunday School. The sun was shining on this dainty red flower just behind our shelter. Our campsite, #30.Perfection!A beautiful weekend on the lake. We found a good spot on a "cliff" where we could fit our two chairs so we could watch the sunset. Our spot on the cliff. We can't be seen from above.Water on to boil for instant coffee!Walking next to the San Gabriel at Camp Tejas. This isn't the most beautiful spot, but it was all nice.Dale gets the tent and the air mattress set up.Our secret sitting area. One wrong step and it's quite a fall to the rocky shoreline. This spot is located behind site #35. No one was camping there so we would go through the site to get to the water's edge.We are packing up to head home. It's hard to believe we fit so much into my Fit. We had a lot of firewood too! Also, I think it is a record that we only used one garbage bag the whole weekend, and it isn't even full. You can see our duct tape job on it to fix the holes the racoons made. ha!Morning coffee on SaturdayDale had a great fire going every night. Our entire campsite. There was damage to some of the trees from the snow storm in February. Our first course of the steak dinner. I think I got a little sun!
