We started the month of right with a trip to Lake Belton. Who knows what the rest of the month will hold?

Work week is over and we're headed to the lake!

There were deer everywhere and they were not shy.

Our cozy, but wet campsite.

That teak mat is designed for an outdoor shower but it was perfect for this wet weather.

We chuckled because Dale found more shells in this lake than we did at the Texas coast a couple of weeks ago!

Lake Belton looks a lot like Lake Georgetown.

Saturday evening we had chili and cornbread that I made the day before. We normally grill but the weather kept us indoors.
