South Dakota – June 2025

We will be spending a month in South Dakota. This gallery will show some of the highlights of that trip.

We traveled miles and miles that looked like this stretch near Lake McConaughy in Kansas.

Wilson is the Czech Capital of Kansas and here is a big egg to prove it. Ha ha! Founded in 1871 as a cattle trade hub.

We had some of the best pancakes at Caroline's Omelet House in Ogallala, NE.

The green pastures suddenly gave way to extraordinary terrain. I believe this is on the edge of the Badlands.

Dale takes in the immense scene. It's a stark difference to the miles of rolling green hills we had just driven through.
