I planted an olive tree in the corner, along with two little lavender plants. These small agave-like plants do very well.

We refinished the furniture on the patio and Dale recently re-stained the ceiling.

Spring 2025. Our Easter Cross is leaning a bit.

The front flowerbed is tidy. It takes work. I don't want any of it to get too big.

We had salvia in this corner the last two summers, but they always die in winter. I replaced them with a palm and an ornamental grass.

All of the plants along the side of the house are looking good.

My roses were really sick at the end of last summer. I cut them down to about six-inch sticks in February.

Good Friday service included the Lord's Supper. Dale and other elders served he bread and juice.

Dale makes an Easter coconut cake.

I tried to decorate the cake similar to my grandmother's cakes.

This was a planned route for our afternoon drive but we didn't do everything.

We passed through Bertram on our drive. The Bertram Flyer stops at the 1912 Bertram Depot.

Any time is a good time for a Texas Hill Country drive.

This will be Tom and Susan's first grandchild! Everyone is excited.

Our third grandchild is due next month.

Dallas will be holding that baby for real soon enough!
