We were not disappointed. Highway 16 between Llano and Fredericksburg was a beautiful drive.Central Texas may not get a lot of gold colors in Fall, but Spring we do!Willow City LoopThe tall cliffs along the Willow City Loop was surprising and beautiful.Fredericksburg was busy!Lunch at the Fredericksburg Brewing Company is always a treat for us.We grabbed a sweet treat at the Pritzer Sweet Shop after lunch.Dale and I always get the same meal at the Fredericksburg Brewery - one sausage, one roll, cheddar cheese and a side of onion rings to share.My love deserves a sweet treat after all that German food.If we bought every candle we smell, we'd be broke!Das Peachhaus located just outside of Fredericksburg is definitely worth a visit.Das Peach House in Fredericksburg is definitely worth a visit.Das Peach House in Fredericksburg has a small pond behind it where you can sit and enjoy a bottle of wine.Das Peachhasue sells sauces, jellies, sauces and more. You can see and taste every single Fischer & Wieser specialty product.Behind the Das Peach Haus is a delightful pond with plenty of shade and seating.The coolest old Ford on display at Das Peach Haus.We stopped by Wildseed Farm but didn't go in.Becker VineyardsWe have been going to Becker Vineyards outside of Fredericksburg for more than 20 years. We stopped by and enjoyed a glass of this wine called "Fleur Sauvage" which means Wildflower. Perfect for our wildflower drive.Becker Vineyard was busy.Poppy field at Becker Vineyard.Beautiful Oaks along the drive of LBJ Ranch.A reconstruction of the the home LBJ was born in.This Lutheran church located next to the LBJ Ranch was attended by the president.We stopped by the Lyndon B. Johnson ranch and homestead.LBJ attended school here.Bison! One of the interesting features of the LBJ Ranch.Subie looks good under the Oaks.A homestead that belonged to neighbors of the Johnsons.
