Cedar Breaks Camping Trip – April 2021

My handsome guy! Notice that he uses a tarp to protect the bottom of the tent as well as give us a place to take on and off our shoes. He's so good at this!

Ready for ABF! We came in from our campsite to teach Sunday School.

The sun was shining on this dainty red flower just behind our shelter.

A beautiful weekend on the lake. We found a good spot on a "cliff" where we could fit our two chairs so we could watch the sunset.

Walking next to the San Gabriel at Camp Tejas. This isn't the most beautiful spot, but it was all nice.

Our secret sitting area. One wrong step and it's quite a fall to the rocky shoreline. This spot is located behind site #35. No one was camping there so we would go through the site to get to the water's edge.

We are packing up to head home. It's hard to believe we fit so much into my Fit. We had a lot of firewood too! Also, I think it is a record that we only used one garbage bag the whole weekend, and it isn't even full. You can see our duct tape job on it to fix the holes the racoons made. ha!
