Hitting the Road! Our Drive from Texas to Utah

Just two weeks after celebrating the wedding of our youngest daughter, we were in route to our first stop on our Moon River West Ventura trip. Now, two years later, I’m writing this post about it! For some reason I was thinking about our trip and realized I didn’t document our three-day drive across four states. I don’t want to forget one minute of our adventures, so I reviewed my photo archives, uploaded photos, made a video and created the map above. It was fun to relive the drive.

Between the time we left our Georgetown Airbnb on the morning of Friday, April 28, 2023 and arrived in Cedar City that Sunday evening, we had visited Stonehenge (sort of), survived a dust storm, looked for aliens, saw painted hills, sat on trees made of rock, and walked the rim of the largest canyon in North America. Not bad for three days!
