Our Plans for the Next Few Months

Today we begin heading south! We expect to arrive in Texas the weekend before Thanksgiving but won’t be in Central Texas until December.

We are driving to Williamsburg, Virginia with a pitstop in Wilmington, Delaware. We will spend a few days in Williamsburg exploring the town itself, the nearby town of Yorktown, as well as Jamestown. More history to experience!

After that we will head to the Raleigh Durham area of North Carolina where we will pet sit for a week, then head west to Asheville. You may remember we started our adventures in Asheville. While we were there we visited the Billy Graham Retreat Center called “The Cove”. We found out about a personal retreat being offered the week of November 14 and we signed up for it! Dale took a week of vacation and we are really looking forward to this unique opportunity. We’ve never done anything like this.

The end of that week we plan to head to North Texas where we will visit family and enjoy Thanksgiving. After that, we expect to be in the Central Texas area most of the time until we get our daughter properly hitched in April. Woohoo! What happens after that, we are not sure. We have tentative plans, but are praying God will confirm or change them.
