QuikTrip: Fryingpan Mountain Lookout Tower
After work on Thursday we took a short hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 409.6 to climb a fire tower located in Pisgah National Forest. The view includes incredible panoramas of the nearby peaks of Looking Glass Rock, Mt Pisgah and Cold Mountain. We attempted to do this last Sunday but we ended up on the wrong trail! We didn’t mind though because the walk so beautiful.
