Dale and I have lived in Central Texas since 2000. We are Christ followers, former Marines, parents, and grandparents. Dale works from home as a human resources professional and I take care of him! Since I quit working in 2019 every day is like a vacation. I’m so grateful for this time in our lives.
We have two daughters, one son and three grandchildren. Our oldest daughter and her husband live in the Dallas area. Our middle daughter and her husband live in New Braunfels, and our son and daughter-in-law live just down the road from us!
Dale and I are in a fun time of life. We’ve had a blast raising our children, and after 20 years in one home, we sold it in 2022 and traveled across the country in our Subaru. This blog was started to document those adventures. You can find out more in our first blog post.
From July to November 2022 Dale and I traveled from Texas to Maine and back. We stayed in one location for a month, then moved on to the next destination. By doing this we were able to work during the week and explore on the weekend. In May of 2023 we hit the road again, traveling through Idaho, Oregon and California and many stops in between.
Then in November 2023 we bought a home in Georgetown, Texas. We still plan on traveling as often as God allows, but its good to have a home base again.
This summer we plan to visit South Dakota and Michigan. You see all the deets in the future!
