Our First Pet Sitting Experience

After leaving Williamsburg, Virgina we headed to Durham, North Carolina to take care of a sweet dog and elderly cat for a lady going to Europe on vacation. It was a week-long gig that provided lodging for us while we waited to attend a retreat at “The Cove” in Asheville the following week. While in Durham we met really nice people at the dog park, visited William B. Umstead State Park and went to the NC State Farmers Market. And, we had to get some pulled pork sandwiches from Smithfield’s! We lived in North Carolina for many years and always enjoy going back as often as we can.
