A Proposal is Accepted!

On June 3, atop a foggy mountain peak near Asheville, NC, our soon-to-be son-in-law asked J to marry him. The weather may not have cooperated but it didn’t seem to dampen the occasion. Dale and I are looking forward to hearing all the details when we see J later this week.

Now, a week and a half later, we are in full wedding planning mode. If all goes well, J will be with us here in Georgetown all next week. This will give us the opportunity to visit several wedding venues. She also has an appointment to try on wedding gowns.

We are targeting April 2023 for the timing and Central Texas for the location. The venues we will be visiting range from New Braunfels to Georgetown.

Dale and I are so happy and grateful to the Lord for his goodness to us!
