September is off to a Great Start!

My beautiful girls! We happened to be wearing the same colors! A. loved it.

The first weekend of the month we helped A. & D. get moved into their new apartment. A. drove the truck like a champ! We collected items for the new apartment from four locations on Friday evening and on Saturday morning several friends from church were there to help us get everything upstairs. D. had sprained his ankle a week before and was unable to help. How convenient!

We helped get all of A. & D.’s stuff moved in to their new apartment. A. will live there until they are married, then D. will join her.

Bridal Shower

The following weekend was really fun and busy. C. A. and J. came down Friday to help with A.’s bridal shower the following day. The shower was held Saturday morning from 10am to noon at Central Baptist. We had a lot of food, fun and friends! I could not have done it without the help of our girls, Dale and A.’s mom.

The bride, her maid of honor and her mom enjoyed opening gifts.

J’s Birthday Party

Later that day we all got together at our house to celebrate J.’s 27th birthday. Grandpa, Grandpa, Aunt Michelle and Gabbi also joined us. More good food and fun. D. gave her a BB gun.

  • Dale made Jordan an awesome chocolate cake. I have named it, “Dale’s Signature Cake” and it’s Bruce Bogtrotter approved!
  • We enjoyed pulled pork barbeque sandwiches, baked potatoes, pasta salad and chocolate cake!
  • Prepping supper.
